Glenn Paxman

Glenn founded Paxman Coolers in the 1990s after his wife lost all of her hair during chemotherapy treatment for cancer.

The family obviously found this very distressing, so using his engineering knowledge, the resources within his existing business and with the help of his brother, Glenn created the Paxman Scalp Cooler.

Following trials at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, the first systems were sold into other hospitals around the country and there are now hundreds of scalp coolers installed in locations throughout the UK, Europe and other parts of the World.

Glenn and his team are dedicated to raising the profile of scalp cooling and supporting the hospitals to ensure that all cancer patients have access to the best possible information about the treatments available to them.

Meet the Paxman team!
